Happy valentines day! 

This morning i woke up discovering a cover of smoke around the house. After checking the news and the current fire warnings there was no cause for alarm. The fire is still not controlled but is burning in the south. At this time there is only a smoke warning for the Perth area and seeing how far down south it really is, there is pretty much no chance it will make it to us at all. I am still keeping an eye on the wind and fire warning reports just to make sure the fire departments will be able to control its spread and also what direction the fire is moving.

We signed and sent in our bank contracts yesterday, so hopefully we will know what that situation is by Monday or Tuesday.

Tomorrow we are going to go to Ikea to have a look at things as a guideline for furniture and style of home we would like. This weekend on Saturday we will also go to the postponed Elmar's visit and see if we might be able to squeeze in some visits to some show homes around the area to get an idea of how we want all the tiles/ roofing/ taps/ windows / kitchen tops and you name it, its good to know those things when we have to pick those things for our house. It would be a shame if we picked things that didn't really fit together visually.
