Happy Chinese new year of the snake.
It happened so that my birthday ended up on the same date as the Chinese new year, there was a lunch planned at Elmar's restaurant but unfortunately i came down with the flu so we had to move the birthday celebration until next Saturday. Hopefully i will be back to my old self by then to be able to fully enjoy my lunch. I am still recovering at the moment and have not cleared from my cough yet.
Thank you every one for the birthday emails, cards, text messages, whats-app messages, Skype talks, the cake, ice cream and the miniature pavlovas.
For this birthday i did not get any birthday gifts, simply because i didn't ask for any and I even talked Mike out of buying me anything.

I feel like i already have what i need and i wish, hope and even pray for this year to give a certain family (i will not write their names) a miracle turn around and that they will all be ok. They are currently having a very tough time with their daughter, she is a truly wonderful person, who has been ill for some time but have lately gone to hospital severely ill. There is not a moment during the past week i haven't thought about how much id like that good old fairy-tale miracle to happen to them.

Tonight we are going to get our paperwork for the bank witnessed. Another thing about me being sick is that we are running out of time to organize things for the house and i feel stressed about it at this point.
I will have an update as of when i know more how we are doing.
