I forgot to mention last time i wrote, that anyone having me on Whatsapp can still send me messages. My phone suddenly decided to die for a full 24 hours, and when i tried to start it a last time before i was going to give up. It started and Whatsapp strangely started working again. 

At some point i will have to get myself a new phone but for now i am going to squeeze out as much use of this one as possible before it decides to die for good. I have a safety copy of the content now too so if it dies i wont loose any of my contacts.

The weather over east has kept being completely crazy. First the fires in NSW and now also flooding in Queensland (QLD) with (as of this morning) unfortunately 6 confirmed deaths because of the floods and stormy weather, that's 6 more deaths than last time they had flooding over there. I can also say that over here we  have been averaging 35 degrees C and not a cloud in the sky. This morning it was very foggy but thats about it.

The 26th we celebrated Australia day by painting and later on sitting in the spa with a drink looking out over the city fireworks. 

Since last time i wrote we have also finished painting the kitchen/ living area and started moving down the hallway towards the study  We have also moved back furniture to the living area and its amazing how much difference some furniture does to the feel of a house. It also makes a big difference in the rooms the furniture was stored.

Yesterday we decided that it was time to pick our long awaited corn from the garden. Sadly we also noticed i am sensitive to something on the leaves or in the flower tassels  Because they caused my arms to flower out in full read speckly and painful itchy glory. I ended up having to take antihistamine as it was getting worse. So i am now banned from picking corn, its very strange to think that i had that kind of reaction because i can eat corn just fine.

We also got a loan offer from the bank in the letterbox but they also wanted the details of what we are buying. And we have signed the proposed pricing for the construction of the house, that i need to scan and send to the builders. I am about to deal with those two today. 

And last but not least we have gotten to know that Mike wont have to go to Newman in February  so he will be here for my birthday AND valentines day. We both feel very happy about that.
