Merry Christmas and happy new year! 

A quick touch on everything that's happened since last time i wrote.

I have a new job. Its a logistics job, that i haven't started yet, im still waiting for my paperwork to come back from the head office so i can get a schedule for my training in to the company. I have a job though and that's very positive.

There's been a few big rain/ thunder storms another one is apparently coming in today. And the sky is really looking like it. There's also been a few fires (one closer than was comfortable but luckily we have been out of the wind direction of that one) and currently the view over the city is covered by a screen of smoke. And at this point in time i don't have any idea where all that smoke is coming from. It might have been drifting this way for quite some time since we haven't heard anything about a big fire close by.

Rickson has escaped away to Germany and we hope that hes ok, being in the snow and cold weather that's currently in that area.
I would also like to mention another one of my friends Sophia, who's currently working in Norway. Since it was quite some time since we've had a chat, any new updates would be nice.

We have also managed to pick up the Photos from the wedding Photographer (FINALLY!) And also the sound CD of the DJ. Those two have seriously given me a headache and the less said about whats been going on the better. (actually managed to get the CD's by the 23rd of December.) So to everybody patiently waiting for them i can just say thank you, and im sorry for the long drawn out wait.

Christmas was celebrated for three days, the 24th there was a secret Santa and dress up, with some nibbles and drink, the 25th was Christmas lunch with the family and the 26th we all went to Caz and had a Boxing day breakfast.

I did bake two gingerbread houses this year a small one to be the prize in the dress up competition and one big one for the use of the family.

For the 24th Christmas secret Santa and dress up, The little gingerbread house was the prize for the kids dress up winner. Cameron won that category. As for the grown up contest i managed to win. The prize for that was a giant multi colored, multi flavored trifle. And it was absolutely delicious.

And cake decorating things

So mostly things encouraging me to be artistic in some way, and i hope to be able to put some pictures here when I've managed to create some new creations and taken a picture of it. ;)

These past days me and mike has also Spent lots of time either shopping or outside the house, Yesterday we went shopping and I bought a new top, some shorts and a new pair of sandals since I didn't have any shoes whatsoever. Nice an cool for the summer, and summer is definitively here for sure. The past week has been around 45 degrees in general (48 degrees yesterday). Kind of insane that we actually decided to go out, walking down the streets in that heat. But Mike only has the next week off work until he has to go back, so right now were spending as much time together as we can. We do/did have plans to go on a honeymoon too while hes off work, but there's a big chance that wont happen.
Hes grandparents only have two more weeks here before they go home, and since hes off work and they're here, he would like to have some more time with them. Something i completely understand and agree too. So we will see how we will do in the end. it needs to be decided in the two coming days.

The whole family have also been dancing together playing Just dance 3 and Dance central on the X box Mikes Brother got for Christmas. To summarize the few past days i only need to say. I have been sore in muscles i didn't even know i had.

Today we also went in to the city center shopping, Mike got a RC car model kit for Christmas and had to go and get some spray paint for it, and for the people in the shop to have a look at it since he'd had some technical difficulties programming the server. I myself went and bought myself a bigger brush and some white mixing oil paint. Hopefully it won't take too long now until ive at least tried to paint something.
And maybe even get to the point where i can take a picture of my work and show it off without feeling ashamed.
Alternative, the first picture might be of a batch of cupcakes decorated with my decoration kit.
I guess we'll see.
