We spent our weekend being very busy. We went to Ikea on the Saturday and got some things for Christmas. Including candles for the Sunday lighting of the Advent candles. I am not at all ready for the end of this year, where has it gone to? I feel like it was only April a month ago. Like everything has just happened through a veil of dreams and at any moment I'm going to wake up and it will be March again as it should have been.
Saturday night we went out to see Muse in the new Perth arena. I have to say, even if the arena looks really ugly, even if it is just barely old enough for the paint to have dried, it is really designed with entertainment in mind. We were sent to the fourth floor and to get there were so easy and quick it did not feel at all as a journey of struggles. I guess it kind of helped that we arrived as the doors opened and there was only a few people there. It turned out to be the best Concert i have ever been to, and unusually enough they allowed filming and pictures through camera phones only. No video or normal cameras allowed.
Muse is a band that is really good recorded but absolutely awesome live. Not only does the band make an awesome job with stage presence and the Lead singer hits the notes flawlessly every single time. They also spend a major part of their time making sure that every one gets involved emotionally.
The house is coming along well, and we are currently waiting for the builder to say the date for the final inspection. Unfortunately i don't have many new photos since the house is still in lock down, but i will take a lot once we go to the inspection. That will be the fist time we have been in to the house being more than a construction site. I will post the few pictures i have in my next post. They have also given us the awesome news that we might be moving in before Christmas or beginning of January. But, i wouldn't put a lot of hope in to that yet, they still need to get back to me about it first, as far as I'm concern its still March for me. Saves me from getting disappointed.
I am also applying to get in to the customs broker course through work. Hopefully i will be starting that in the end of January. Just in time for the house to to be handed over to us and just in time for us getting really busy fixing it all up so we get it like we want it inside. Every thing will pretty much end up happening at the same time again. Just as it happened with my visa and the wedding.
This Friday we have been invited to the yearly RSPCA Christmas party for volunteers and staff. I will go for sure, even if they have said its going to be a storm then. Its going to be interesting to say the least. I will finally get to show Mike where i have been spending my Sunday mornings. And all the dogs i seem to have just fallen a bit for.
Now its only 20 days to Christmas (the proper Swedish one).
And below there are two songs from the Muse concert ,not filmed by me, but i am thinking of maybe getting a YouTube channel for myself so i can put little videos that i have added to my huge library of pictures and other media but so far have not found the right outlet for. It is in my head, i just haven't found out how i want i t to be yet.
