Our house build is on hold at the moment because its been so stormy. The Pad has had to get some extra time to set because of the rains. The build has also had a change. We have a new site manager, who i spent talking to a bit on the Friday. He said as far as the schedule goes we are a bout a week behind, but that's easily regained when they start bricklaying the walls (hopefully this coming Friday depending on the weather.) and also that we might be expecting to have the start of the roof ready to go up in a months time.
I have been down there to take a picture of it on the Friday but i will be posting that in a later post and also go in to more details about things that has been going on.
Other than that i have been volunteering and working on like normal, except for that interview i went to. And that they called me Friday afternoon and actually offered me the job. And its going to be my first day tomorrow. So i have had to send emails to organize volunteering and to tell my other job i wont be able to keep working with them. They too have offered me a permanent position and has asked me to consider it and contact them back this Tuesday. So far i have been giving it quite a thought, but sadly i will go for this new job. It has about everything i have been looking for and more.
Will write about the dilemma in my next post.
This weekend i have also been to His Majesty's Theatre together with Jacky, Jessica and Jeanette to see the spectacular St Petersburg Ballet Performing the Swan Lake (link opens in new window). It was the best version of the ballet i have seen so far. And the most expressive swan i have ever seen. If they perform anywhere else close to where you are and you are a ballet fan, i would recommend you to go see it.
Me and Mike also Tried to go to the movies to see Worlds End but that didn't work out at all.
I have been playing a bit more of the last of us, and also got a new game on Steam called March of War, that is a turn based war strategy game set in the 1940s. Where you join one out of 6 teams and fight against the other teams to change the course of history (or maintain it) The first chapter is out now, and there will be new chapters rolled out as the months go along there is more details on their website. I recommend it for anyone thinking they are a good strategist. It is very much like RISK but of the computer games world and the development team are looking for more feedback on the development as the game goes along. So this is also a great opportunity to be a part of something a lot of people will enjoy in the future.
There was also an epic global role playing night with my friends in Sweden, that i also have to write more about in my next post.
All of the above will eventually be fully explained, i just wanted to write a post before i had been too busy to remember what I've been up to.
Now i have to go to bed to be ready for tomorrows day ahead.
