Last week has been a very busy week for me, with me getting signed up to a recruiting company, my volunteering and specialist and house build. Its a bit of a blur but ill try to remember whats been going on since the last time i wrote.
As said above i was contacted by a recruiting company that hires out staff to other companies when ever they need staff. I got contacted Tuesday, signed up with them Wednesday and then got to go for a site induction at a place i will be getting called out to if they need staff. Its a flower packing place that does arrangements and bunching for big retail shops or florists across Australia. I'm looking forward to that. I don't want to come across as a material person but money will make our future living arrangements a bit more enjoyable.
I will be contacted by them possible during sometime this week for my first shift. Starting at 6:30 in the morning, its a 45 minute drive there so i probably need to get up at 4:30 to eat get dressed and wake up enough to be able to drive there in time for the start.
Also we have gotten news about the coroner report that has been long awaited, as for the cause of death of my brother. Cause of death has been labeled as sudden death. Something i already expected as of a dream i had.
Related to that, i saw the movie "the sixth sense" last weekend. And i had a bit of what i would call a post-funeral epiphany that stuff has really happened. Or in other words, the coin dropped and i cried as i have many times before. But with the difference that for the first time ever since then, it felt like it wasn't just a bad dream, it actually felt like it did happen and that there was no way i could believe otherwise. And that i also really need to get my act together and write down everything i have memories of, to preserve it as it is forever. A piece of him will always be alive as long as he is remembered in our hearts.
Our house build is going forwards and we went down there Saturday to have a look. They had started the site works. Picture as seen below.
They also contacted us to advise that our bathroom cupboards had to be re selected because the color we had chosen was being discontinued. So after the work place introduction i drove past the builders office to re select a new one. It turned out to be a completely new color that they didn't have last time, that got selected in the end. But but both me and Mike actually think this new color works better. This morning the builders also sent us an email saying the pad is down, the drainage and plumbing is done so we are going to go down there with the camera tonight to have a look. It might possible be a late night dinner tonight.
As for my volunteering i went there Thursday for my Theoretical training, It went well and i got some homework to do for this Thursday when I'm going to go and do my practical session. After Thursday i will get to know if i have passed the training and then if i passed i will have shifts to work. I guess i will let you know if i passed.
