Awesome news everybody. Our House is about to start. Tuesday night we went down to the block, even if it was raining so you could barely see out with the windscreen wipers on max, so we drove carefully and zigzagged a bit because some of the roads on the way there were flooded. The builder have scraped off the top layer of our block now. But when we went down there i had forgotten my camera and it was so rainy and dark so unfortunately i did not really see much or was able to take any good photos with my phone. So on the Wednesday i went there again with my camera, in daylight so i now have some before and after pictures for you below. We do not own a jungle anymore but its a nice flat piece of land.
The Builder called me yesterday to confirm some more details and also advised me that the site works crew will be starting the preparation for the pad and the building work either today or Monday next week. We will be going there tomorrow morning to have a look and see if they have done anything more. This is going to be the exiting bit that's going to cost us a quite big amount of fuel for a while i think.
This past week we have been dog-sitting Regie the dog while Mikes aunt and her family has been in Singapore for a holiday. And yesterday we picked them up from the airport to give them a lift home so they didn't have to go through the trouble of getting a taxi.
As you probably have noticed i have updated some things on my blog again. I have added some tags to each an every post and added a word cloud on the bottom to the right, to make certain subjects easier to find. As of now i do know the word cloud is quite big and I'm currently working on making it a little bit smaller. I have also changed the archive to only show the post dates and not a sample text of the post itself. I hope these new changes will make it easier to find posts instead of having to look through the sample texts in the archive. The tags are still in progress but i will tidy them up as i go. If there is any tag or subject i write about, that is currently not in the word cloud, let me know and ill add them in.
As of my volunteering meeting with the RSPCA they have let me know i passed in to the training sessions. If i pass those sections A theory session and a practical one, i will be told when i will be able to start.
I wont be able to write any details about whats going on or what i will be doing if and when i have started volunteering because of the possible legal procedures pending involved in the care of the animals getting in to the area.
The only thing i can say however is that i have applied for a few different areas to volunteer in, but that it does sound like they would want me to go through to the rehabilitation training for dogs.
This weekend we are going to go celebrate the beginning of our house by going for a dinner down at the pub.
This Monday is also the time for me to go fix my balance issues. So hopefully they will be gone by Tuesday.
