Here follows the absolutely massive post i promised you guys yesterday. Firstly however, id like to thank everyone for all the congratulations I've gotten for being granted my permanency.
Secondly: Any one who has sent me a message on Whats-app the 22nd of December and forwards have not had their message red. The creators of the app have now updated Whats-app so it no longer works on my phone because it does not have/ or can have the version of program it needs.
And Merry very late Christmas!

Fall got sick before Christmas with an infected tear duct that we had to have her under anesthetic to flush out the 24th of December. Since then she has been on medication and has been back to the vet twice to check it. As of today's vet visit we have been told to clean her face with a damp cloth twice a day but not continue with the medication. If she turns out to get problems again after we have helped her to keep it clean she might have to be booked in to a specialist to see what they can find. We hope that's not going to be the case.
I have learned two new things that i did not know about treating dogs before. The first being that they use a dye to check the eye so it has no scratches on it. The dye reacts to the protein in blood and tissue and glow green in black light. That dye does also go fluorescent green, yellow and orange all over the dogs face as it leaves the eye through the natural disbursement of tears. See picture of Fall with the dye in her eyes, it looks scary i know.

The second thing i learned was that dogs, unlike humans, have four tear ducts  Two on each eye, One where we have in the bottom corner closest to the nose, But also under the upper eyelid close to the nose. As of the checkup for fall we also know she does not have the lower ones, only the upper tear ducts  so she will always have a bit more eye goo than other dogs would have.

For Christmas i also got a lot of things. More things than i had expected. As follows in no particular order: Chocolate, Body Lotions, body washes, Food mixer, Hair curler, Hair dryer, Computer (which I'm using at the moment to be able to write this), a computer mouse, Gingerbread cake cutters, pants, pictures, Jamie Oliver cook book, Nano blocks (a miniature Lego with the smallest piece being 4 x 4 x 5 mm), A recipe organizer folder, Date candle, 1 Terra-byte hard drive and last but not least a Monkey memory stick. Most of my gifts shown on the picture below.

The 26th We went to the premiere of the Hobbit, including lounge, free popcorn and drinks. It was very good, and i really recommend anyone liking the other Lord of the rings movies to watch it.

The 28th we packed our self in the car and went down south to Pemberton, Walpole, Valley of the giants and Denmark. Pemberton is that sort of town where every one seem to know every one and nothing seem to be too much trouble if you ask for directions to somewhere. We spent the time there in a nice little hotel, waking up in the morning to chicken sounds and cows around the corner. Pemberton is also a wood milling town, and we took some time to go on the Tram, the museum, some walks to see the forests, the trees that had been converted in to fire watch towers (you could still get to climb them) some waterfalls and some other nice natural attractions. 

 

On the way to Denmark we stopped in Walpole and later also in the Valley of the giants and did the tree top walk there. At the same time we got to know that there was a man there with a collection of snakes. So we managed to get tickets to go see him too. He had a big collection of Australia's most poisonous snakes and some different kinds of Pythons. The heaviest weighing 7 kilos and was half its full size. At one point i had three snakes on me crawling around (they were all pythons, the dangerous ones were in their locked cages). One lay itself on top of my bag and was very well camouflaged. Sorry about the ugly hats,we had to buy hats  in Pemberton because we noticed we forgot our own at home.

When we got to Denmark we had a few good walks in town and also visited some of the beaches around the coast line that we could drive to in our car, Some of the roads were so bad that even if we traveled in a 4 wheel driven car it would have almost vibrated the whole car to pieces. Unfortunately we didn't have time to Visit everywhere we wanted to go since we needed to start the drive back to Pemberton.

On our way back the 2nd of January,We made a stop in Bridgetown so we could have a bit of a walk and look at some local history.

 Later on the trip home i also requested a stop in the apple town, Donnybrook, they have apples as street lights and there's apples everywhere. We ate our lunch there and then kept going for only one more stop and that was to buy a bag of cherries on a farm we had seen on the way down.

Since we have been home we have been told that rogue is eating our cucumbers off the plants in the garden, and the strawberries, and some pumpkins. We are currently trying to figure out how to train her not to be tempted to eat our food before its ready for picking. An update might come later if we have figured something out.

Yesterday they also started repairs of the floor, to change some faulty floor boards that the floor place finally have agreed to that it was their mistake for giving us faulty timber. So we have all moved out in the alfresco and in the carpet areas until Thursday, when we need to move out completely for 4 days, since the top coating gives off poisonous fumes when it sets.

So me and Mike will stay with the neighbors to be able to keep an eye on the dogs (who we are now training to sleep in their dog house out side at night so we have them in to the routine when they really cant go in the house).

Our own house is hopefully also coming along nicely soon, we only sent in lots of paperwork for it today so they will call us in to a meeting about pre-start preparations when they are ready and our bank comes through with a loan acceptance.

Next week mike will go away again to Port Hedland hes flying out the day he goes back to work (Monday) And wont come home until Tuesday the week after that. The real reason i got a new computer was for me to have easier to keep in contact with everybody through all the different media i use. And since this computer have windows 8 it is basically built for it.

And i think this needs to be enough for today.

2013 is going to be a good year i think, since good things always seem to happen to me when the number 13 is involved.
