Its starting to get to that time of year where the only wish i have is the wish for snow and Donald duck. But i have to settle for ice cream and icy drinks. All the other things i might just be able to scrape together myself. Like lighting the candles, gingerbread's and sweets. Im even going to do a little miniature Swedish Christmas dinner with smoked salmon, cabbage and pineapple salad caviar and Swedish hard bread. There is not going to be any sweets, ham or gingerbread house this year. Because i feel a bit deflated by all the things I've been doing lately.
Our offer on the house got accepted as a wrote in the last post, since then we have been paying the deposits and gone in to the pre-selection stage, where we coordinate everything we would want with the builder so they know what tiles, taps, lights, roof, garage door and doors we want, and much more.
It is exciting but at the moment it feels a bit unreal, its so weird knowing we might have a house of our own sometime about this time next year. I think its going to take some time to actually sink in.
Last weekend we got invited to go and see Sky fall at the movies with the close family. it was a very good movie and im actually going to go as far as to say that Daniel Craig is the best bond throughout all the 50 years Bond movies have existed.

I have also been hard at work getting all the paperwork together for the visa, and i finally got the last thing yesterday. there was some last finishing touches and then i handed it in at the post office just 30 minutes later.
Hopefully it will get there just in time before my time is up, but i will give them a call to make sure that i don't need to get another extension. It still stresses me out, but there is nothing more i can control about the future events. Everything from now on is out of my hands, i just have to wait my 6 to 8 months for the decision to be made. But its the wait that is the worst thing about all of it. To not be able to tell anyone how its going, because your in-cased in a brick wall of silence. And to feel as if there is only a shrinking possibility that it will have a positive outcome because of how long its taken me to actually get the paperwork together.
We have also been to the vet with Fall because she's been having a problem with one of her eyes. First visit we got medication and a dose of twice a day for a week, that did not help so we had to go back and they checked her again and the dose was doubled to 4 times a day. If it does not help we need to go back again this weekend and have her under anesthesia so they can have a proper look to see that there is no sand or scratches or anything under the eyelid causing her trouble and try to flush her eye properly. If it comes to that i really hope it clears it up for her.
We have also bought tickets to go and see the premiere of the Hobbit, Including food, free popcorn, and soft drinks, and pre-movie lounge bar. I am so looking forward to that.
Another thing im really looking forward to is the trip we will make the 28th of December to the 2nd of January. We are going to take the car down to cape Leeuwin, Pemberton and Explore the south coast. Those who have requested and some that have not requested will get a postcard from somewhere down that way. Also because we will spend new years down there i will try to get good reception to send happy new year text messages to some people too.

Today's Song is a much better cover of an already very good song:
The Lumineers - Ho Hey (Tyler ward and Alex G cover)
