I would like to dedicate this post to Findus who passed away the 11th of November.

In my last post i wrote about how we had been to have a look at a house we were quite interested in. In the end, we also ended up booking a second viewing. That viewing we also invited Jacky and Andrew who works with real-estate. They ended up asking questions we never even would have thought of which was really good. After the viewing we went to their house and had a bit of a talk what we were looking for. So Andrew pulled out the details of a house he thought we could consider. It is a house that we will have to build to be able to live in, but turned out being a better deal than the house we had gone to have a look at.

In the end we did a complete turn around from buying a house already ready to move in to and not build. To build and not buy an already ready house.

Reason being, the area we will be building in will inflate the price we later can sell it for when we decide to move on, way quicker than the time it will take for the price to shift in the area we were looking at the already built house. The house we viewed is in an old area, and price shifts will happen slowly, while the building project is in a completely new suburb which have pretty close to most important connections like buses, trains, freeway and so on. There is a big park just across the road too so it will take about three minutes to walk there to play with Fall or go for a walk or jog.

We have to have a talk with our finance broker to see if he will be able to help us make the house happen. 

We have announced our interest and the house is held until we get an answer for a possibility to loan.

I contacted the immigration office again to ask how long it would take to get the documentation i need to finish my visa application and spoke to a nice person who told me it usually takes a week to get the documents. And since i had been waiting for two weeks, he asked for my email and emailed me through everything i need to get things done. At that point i felt a big weight off my shoulders because the rest of it is me, i don't have to wait for documents to arrive anymore. I can just print them and fill them in to send back when i have done it. Im not going to be able to send it until Mike has done hes part too, they want another legal witness statement from both of us, a police clearance, and some other details.
So after I've sent the documents in that they are asking for, they say it might be an 8 months wait until they decide if i get to stay.

Mike is currently working in Port Headland  and he left Monday. He is working all this weekend too so he wont be flying home until tomorrow afternoon and then he will be working all week until Thursday. This week he has also been working overtime to 7 pm every day. Talk about working hard. I am really excited he will be coming home because i miss him a lot, he will look all wild and scruffy most certainly. I feel a bit sorry for him because its been very hot up there, on or above 40 C all week. 

On a positive note, i got an email from the Federal Police today that stated my police clearance has been processed and is on its way to me. maybe ill get it Monday or Tuesday.

My siblings Christmas presents were sent too, so i hope they will arrive in time for Christmas.

Same goes for the Christmas cards I've sent.

This week has been quite hot here too, its been 30 C to mid and higher 30 C's. Today we had a top of 36 and not much wind at all. And even if its late, its still close to 20 C. Still no breeze and it makes it hard to sleep.

This day has been a bit mad in other ways too, i was woken up at 7 am by the dogs, which is a bit unusual lately, they normally wait until at least 8. The Garden looks a bit mad too, its growing an growing and we have had to put some more bamboo poles in it in places too to stop the dogs crushing the plants. They seem to like to sleep on the soft carrot leaves and cucumber vines. Little monsters!

Other than that the garden is actually going really well and we have started being able to eat lettuce, strawberries, spring onions, herbs and spinach. We have also planted roses along the edge of the rocks but pictures will follow in another post.

The dogs also managed to completely ruin our seedling tray, that just started sprouting little green leaves. 

So i would like to warn people who is thinking of getting a Beagle without having experience of having dogs before. 

Beagles does not grow up past the mischievous stage. They stay in it forever, even if they are three years old or ten, they will still occasionally (we are talking about a time frame of at least once a week here) cause devastating damage to things that you didn't think they would, and because of this too, if they have access to sand and/or dirt, they will get quite dirty very quickly. I mean Fall's favorite spot to sleep is on the pile of builders sand, or in the garden bed. And Rogue likes to walk trough water puddles and roll in mud and.or any smelly, dusty, creepy crawly material she can find. Actually i think she enjoys to annoy smelly bugs by picking them up and bite them a bit to then drop them and roll in them. The smellier the thing the more she enjoys it. She rolled in a praying mantis yesterday. See the squashed one in the picture. Later on i found another one that was alive and unnoticed so i took a good look at it, took pictures and then moved it to a more appropriate camouflage than bright green on brown.

Because Rogue was completely brown,and Fall was so dusty she caused even herself to sneeze it was bath time for both of them today. The end result was not completely escape attempt free but afterwards you could actually see the white markings on Rogue's legs and face again. And Falls Fur looked very fluffy, So fluffy that i actually managed to comb out a massive amount of her shedding hair because the static holding it in place was gone.

And last but not least, we all got a shout out from Kish today at http://www.shockradio.co.uk/, as she was working in a radio show. We entered the web radio and could see her in the studio webcam while she was talking and doing her thing. Thank you Kish, and you did a good job. We are all very proud of you.

Tomorrow we will be celebrating Jacky's birthday with a trip to Fremantle and have a dinner there.

So, that was that. Sorry for the monster of a post, but that's how it is sometimes. Some things just needs to be said. I also want to thank every body who has been taking to me this week, its made the time go quicker.
