I have seen a few movies so far this year. The below links will open in a new window.
Rogue one was really interesting in the way that it made me more interested in the star wars universe timeline than i have been previously and have almost made me want to watch the entire film catalogue in its entirety in chronological order according to what time they are supposed to have been happening in the Star wars universe.
I was really nervous to go and see the Beauty and the beast because i had also recently tried to see the Jungle Book. The re-make of the Jungle book really disappointed me and since Beauty and the beast is one of the better Disney movies i was afraid that this new re-make would cause me to be even more disappointed if it too was bad. But i was wrong and i really liked it.
I watched the B.F.G not so long ago and i liked it because it reminded me of harry potter in a way, the giants have their own little world in a magical land you can get to if you know the way through the clouds.
I have also seen the New King Kong: Skull island movie and i would give it about 5 out of 10. I found it quite hard to focus at times because it was too much of the same thing through the whole movie. Over all i would class it as watchable.
Most recently we went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and it was about the same level of good as the first one. But i have to say that my favourite part of the movie is the beginning subtitles. It was just a refreshing idea for the theme of introductions.
As well as a large collection of Kung fu movies on Netflix. Like the entire Ip man series. and drunken master and so on to mention a couple, i have also watched Studio Ghibli's My Neighbour Totoro and the first season of the series: Anne with an E, a series based on the book Anne of green gables.
