We have now had our pre-start meeting to confirm how we want details for our house. Our builder were impressed when we were organized enough to cut the meeting down half the time than expected. It started at 9 am and was supposed to last until lunchtime about 12 -ish. In the end we were completely finished by 10:30 and after that we just spend some time talking so we didn't end up leaving until about 11.
We have also since then gotten the final costings that we need to approve and choose, sign and send back so they can do our last final drawing.
Today i have been at the phone all day organizing details with the builder, electrics and gas people. I still need to organize the water but i think i might do that tomorrow.
Hopefully in the next post i will also have some colour schemes to show what the general look will be like.

Mike rolled his foot quite bad three weeks ago while playing soccer and has had Dr's appointments 4 times a week to have it treated with ultrasound and checked out by the doctor. Hes torn a ligament in the ankle but luckily he did not break anything but its been quite swollen and sore. So he had to stay completely off it for 6 days and then he started being able to walk using a walking stick. He reminded me about Dr. House, eating hes painkillers and looking quite unsatisfied with the situation in general. Last week he worked the Wednesday to Friday. And this morning he flew out to Kununurra to later drive from there out in the middle of no where. He is expected to come home again Thursday if the jobs go as planned.
I have also been asked if id like to do some relief work at the primary school i used to volunteer at while working in the supermarket in Yangebup. Id say that's about 2 years ago now since we were only just planning the wedding then. Jikes! Anyhow. If i do get some relief work hours in that's at least better than being completely without a job. I just need to speed up my search finding a full time job and that will be so much easier now since i don't have to rely on public transport or organizing lifts with people.
There is also great news that the major living areas of this house is now painted. We have started to move back the furniture and it feels like a home again. Next step will be to paint the bedrooms and re- organizing the study.
We will be house sitting our neighbors house again in the beginning of April. We will be there taking care of their house and dogs for a whole week while they go holidaying with some family members that has flown here to visit them, and we will be back in our room again the 12th.
The 13th of April we are invited to a 40th birthday by one of mikes work mates. He is having a 80's dress up party and i cant decide what i should dress up as. I'm thinking big poofy hair and lots of colours, but that's as far as I've gotten. Suggestions is very appreciated. I will take pictures of whatever becomes the end result.
I am not afraid to cut my hair or dye it if i have to. I am currently trying to convince myself to do something new with my hair again anyways, its getting quite long. I actually measured one of my hairs a few days ago out of curiosity and it measured roughly 57 cm in length. It goes about half way down my back when i have it in a high pony tail. So its definitively time to do something to make myself feel like my hair is a bit more fresh and exciting.
Also getting back to the subject of school reunion. It is now very painfully clear to me that i will not be able to go to it. Even if i really want to. The house hasn't even started getting built and we have not had the final drawings yet.
So I'm afraid that its not going to work out.
