The house sitting is over and we are back in our own bed. They did enjoy their time in Europe and mentioned they had been through A few countries including Germany, Holland, France and Great Britain.

So being back i have taken on the task of trying to re organize our room. So far so good, but i have barely scratched the surface.

My computer has been playing up a bit lately, if i listen to music and spend time on msn or Skype and/or the internet at the same time it seems to overheat and die for some reason, im going to have to check in to that. Good thing is i have everything backed up on an external hard drive just in case. I just have to make sure i do not do so many things at once for now. Another thing i have noticed is that my internet seems to die if i have more than two tabs running at the same time.

The virus scan came up empty so next step is to uninstall some stuff, maybe re install what i really want to keep and then see how its doing.

I have also been booked in to have my driving test the 22nd this month. Its 15 days until then and i am going to drive as much as possible just to make sure im not going to make any mistakes.

hopefully i will get to drive if mike comes home from work a bit earlier. I think he left a bit earlier today, im not sure though because i was half asleep when he said he was going.

This weekend me and mike also went to Garden City to spend some of our wedding money, that got given to us on a Garden city gift card that will expire soon. So, spending that kind of money is not easy. Specially since the wedding money is to be spent on things for a house (that we do not have, and because of that not knowing what we will need), secondly too because half of the stores there does not take the card. And that disappointed us allot. I will be writing an email about that to garden city at a later time today. I mean whats the point of having a gift card for the shopping center if you do not have a choice between most of the shops in the whole shopping center? To be fare, there is a choice if you are going to buy clothes, but almost all the shops with home ware stuff is not included in the gift card at all. We had 3 shops to choose from in the end and one of them didn't have anything that we liked. So that left a tea shop and a bedroom accessories shop.

We ended up buying:

- a teapot

- a sugar bowl with a spoon

- a milk bowl

- 6 Turkish cups and saucers

- 3 different kinds of loose leaf teas

- 2 sheet sets

And

- A bed cover and pillow cover set

We fell in love with the Turkish cups while looking around for a tea pot but didn't buy them, and went to buy the bed stuff. After arriving to the doors to go to our car and seeing it was raining like mad outside we had a short meeting about the cups and in the end decided we didn't want to let them go, so we ended up walking back to the tea shop and buy them. We still got rained on in the end but at least we had the cups.

Lately i have found myself liking more of an old style of music. I still like new stuff too, but i think at the moment im more in to soul or the funky old style with a new take.

There is a new movie due to come out over here shortly called "The Sapphires" And this Australian singer in today's song (the lead actress in "The sapphires"), is currently ranking high on both the Australian music charts and my personal favorite artists.
