We have celebrated mikes moms birthday, Had a remembrance day at point Walter for hes grand moms birthday. We also went to Kings park last week to celebrate another one of hes cousins birthdays.
I really love kings park, its so amazing. With all the flowers and the trees there. Also all the flags on the memorial plaques there along the roads. All the soldiers gone to war but didn't make it back home.
And Anzac day is the day when they all get remembered and honored. This year we went the day after but me and mike have decided that we will go to the morning service next year.
Updates on the house, The inner walls are plastered, and its now very close to lockup this is how it looks inside right now.
Right now its at that point when you feel how nice it will be to live in when its finished. But its still a lot to do for the builders to get it actually ready to live in. Like putting in the lights and, kitchen and floors and so on.
We have also had dance practice, called photographers, emailed wedding people left and right, checked flight prices, hunted for houses, arranged a hotel room, arranged the order of things to be done, checked our budget, asked people to participate in one or another way. for the wedding of course. And right now I'm trying to get my bridesmaids in order so i know i wont be lonely up there.
But for now i have to say its been a real challenge. And im so happy that both of my parents can make it. Together with my two youngest siblings. (they are going to be Flower girl and Page boy)
the wedding is slowly coming together. At the same time as i would like it to just slow down so i can have time to do all that needs to be done at this stage, i also want it to really speed up so id be there already just enjoying the day.
My job has also been flat out, the store have changed owners and the new owners have changed lots of the routines. So theres new things to think about and new ways of doing things. New layout even so theres been some problems finding things, some times.
Friday i spent all day watching the royal wedding. And i just have to say the dress was amazing. But i know i will be more happy about our wedding when its my turn, than when i watch a wedding on tv.
it cant really compare.
We also went to IKEA last weekend, Saturday, and had breakfast and some shopping. We bought some proper Swedish meatballs, sausage, jam, Daim and some caviar.
And this weekend coming up we have planned to go bowling.
Thursday we also have another one of our dance lessons, if i can manage to change my shift with someone. Since the dance starts at 19:30 and i finish my shift at 19:40. .. In another part of the city. So unless i can change it some how or swap my shift for someone others. I will have big trouble actually getting there in time for the lesson to finish.
Another thing i would like to share today is how mikes brother's dog actually loves to sleep.
Yes she is laying on top (and in between) the armrests of the chairs.... Thats her favorite spot.
