Mike is away again working, and i slept only 4 hours last night (or this morning how ever you choose).

Yesterday the BBQ was really good, with lots of people there, Me and mike had already met about half of them through our dancing, since there was lots of dance people there, also mikes former boss that he used to work for before he went to the job he is on now. 

So in the orange sunlight we had a good time. Orange since Perth has during these past two days been flanked by four different Bush fires that has covered the sky with orange smoke so my eyes has been stinging.

One of the bigger fires and also the one they have reported on the news still burning but about half an hour ago its announced that its finally under control. With 64 houses lost and even more damaged. That fire has been burning strong in the winds from the cyclone Yasi (That hit the coast in Queensland last Saturday Midnight) but has traveled across the land and reached us last night. Its not strong as it was in Queensland with 287 km/h winds, but it has caused 50km/h winds during the night witch made the fire fighting really difficult.

No casualties at all since people had time to evacuate the area just in time.

That big one is no where near where we are currently living but it is about 2.2 kilometers away from the house that currently is getting built. Also Lucky for our new house but unlucky for the firefighters the wind was blowing towards Perth.  and the 64 houses lost are mostly in the outer suburbs of the city.

But enough said about that, everyone is OK and thats how it should be. Isn't it?

2 days left until my birthday, And i'm looking forward to it. Mainly because i will become the age i'm going to be when i'm getting married. And thats really exciting. 

And i'm also going to be maybe a book richer :D As you probably know since an earlier post i wrote i'm currently reading the Hobbit, but after i'm done with that i don't know what to read. Except maybe a book i borrowed from Mike's Brother.

I also would have tried to check hotel/ rental house prices for every one coming over for the wedding, but our internet has been insanely bad today so i wasn't even able to log in to my mail earlier today.

But i'm here now, Writing this and we are all ok. Even mike who arrived in Albany earlier tonight, i would guess about two hours ago.

Also some random semi - related facts:

- Sweden fits inside of Western Australia (just the state) 5.5 times.

- The whole of Australia fits inside of Russia 2.2 times. (A bit smaller than half of Russia.. BIG!)

- Australia spans across 3 timezones

And this is the wild snake that crawled in to the house and in to our bathroom in to the bath tub at new years eve.

Its a Carpet python, Isn't it adorable? :3 It got a ride in a cardboard box out of the house a couple of minutes after this photo was taken.
