Its been a lifetime first and last today. I got my ears pierced, and i'm never doing it again, ever. So now i have to have these for 6 weeks until ill change to sleepers. I also have to remember to spin them now and again so they wont heal and get stuck.
Tonight my love gets home too, and i don't know what he will say. Hopefully he will like it. i guess i have to wait and see.
And a story about our first proper date when i got over here. I write proper because it was the first date we had, actually being at the same place together. This must have been the first weekend i was here.
We decided to have a picnic, so we packed water, sandwiches and apples in a bag. It was a nice sunny day and about 17 degrees i believe because it was quite comfortable.
We decided to go to a waterfall and have our picnic there.
That sounded really simple and easily done. But it wasn't. On the way driving there we got lost, and it took us a good 15 minutes to figure out where we were and where we had to go.
Also the sky started to look awfully cloudy and threatening. We finally got to the nature reserve park where the waterfall was located. We got out the car and started walking.
it was a really nice walk looking at the trees and bamboo and following the stream that looked like it got bigger and bigger the higher up the hill we got.
And we got to some big rocks that we climbed past and then out of no where we were right next to the waterfall.
Here is a picture i took.
Small but noisy and lots of slippery rock below. We carefully climbed closer and sat down to have our picnic.
And then the sky opened up and we had to change the plan a bit. We only had one umbrella with us so we both squeezed in as much as we could underneath it to not get wet. And we ate our food.
A little bit to our side we spotted some shoes. Just shoes no other person. And they were casually put there next to each other as if someone put them there and thought to themselves *ill just put these here and i will pick them up later* But never did.
We finished eating with no success whatsoever keeping away from the rain. We were drenched to the skin.
So having seen the waterfall, taken some pictures and had eaten our food, we decided to turn back and head for the car.
And that was that, I loved it.
Right now i just hope that my ears will stop feeling so sore, and its also 3 hours left until my love gets home.
I should really have my lunch, thats going to be, a piece of toast and Hongkong style Ho Mein Noodles. Mein being the wheat noodles, Flat and wide. Like a Tagliatelle pasta but wider and without the egg. Ho being the describing word and also a common Chinese surname meaning: carry, what, how, why, which.
I would like to learn Chinese and Japanese but i guess thats a future hobby when i get time to. At the same time i would also like to learn Russian, Spanish and Korean. I just don't know in which order to start.
And i wonder if ill ever have time to.
Off to lunch and i leave you with todays song:
Kaiser Chiefs - Ruby
Enjoy.
Enjoy.
